Raincoast Crisps debut new gluten-free oat alternative

    1 of 1 2 of 1

Cracker queen Lesley Stowe has rolled out a new line aimed at people with gluten sensitivities. Building on the success of her Raincoast Crisps (which now come in six varieties), she’s added Raincoast Oat Crisps, which are available in both original and rosemary raisin flavours. The crisps are made in a kitchen that uses nuts and wheat but are made of gluten-free oat flour rather than wheat flour. Find them at Whole Foods Markets (various locations, where they retail for $7.99), Urban Fare, and some MarketPlace IGA stores such as the 909 Burrard Street location.

Actually there is some debate among coeliacs about oats. Some coeliacs will not eat them at all, so these may not be for everyone.
