Raincoast Crisps spin off cookie cousins

    1 of 1 2 of 1

Local cracker queen Lesley Stowe has added a new product to her arsenal: cookies. Like her popular Raincoast Crisps, Raincoast Cookies are made of all-natural ingredients like chicory root, flax seeds, chia, and dried fruits and nuts. These are big, toothsome power cookies that are full of fibre and protein (and, it must be said, 12 to 15 grams of fat and about 300 calories each). There are three varieties: apricot, ginger, and slivered almond; dried cranberry and toasted hazelnut; and dark chocolate, tart cherry, and pecan. Find them packaged individually (about $2.95 each) at Urban Fare and soon Whole Foods Markets.
