Southeast Vancouver has a new farmers market. The River District farmers market takes place at Kerr Street Plaza (8683 Kerr Street), just south of SE Marine Drive at the foot of the pier. The independent market—it’s not affiliated with Vancouver Farmers Markets but put on by the River District—will take place every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. until October 27. Goods for sale include fruits, veggies, honey, artisan bread, gluten-free baking, coffee, seafood, and more. Music and kids’ activities are also part of the mix.
