Mahjong tiles, but you were white!

You were playing some game on your phone that involved mahjong tiles. I asked if you could read chinese characters. When we got off at BCIT you were "fiddling" (I only realized later you were probably waiting for me to step off) with your umbrella under the covered stop. Before we parted ways, you then said you would let me know if you ever learned the characters. I just pulled an all-nighter so I didn't catch the hints. Hoping you'll read this, catch you on the 25 again, or run into you on campus.
