Like a burst of sunshine on a cold winter day your smile warmed my heart and I will cherish it as long as I breathe. If you knew that I am deeply in love and devoted to the woman I have always dreamed for, would you have been so generous with your smile? Yours is a very sweet message.
I was on the seawall that day in the early afternoon and have a hard time believing I was the only one out there sharing smiles. However, just in case you are speaking of me, I can say that I am also in a loving, committed relationship.
In truth, I probably did smile at you because I thought you were attractive. But I wasn't looking for someone new. To share a smile seems one of the simplest and warmest ways to make connections with others. And, when the smile is returned, it this makes me feel good. It's an acknowledgment of my existence outside of my day-to-day life.
I received two smiles that day. Perhaps yours was one of them. If it was, I am so happy to have warmed your heart, as you did mine.
