Shoppers across B.C. will get a taste of Target starting Tuesday (May 7). The U.S. retail chain is set to open 20 stores across Western Canada—including nine in B.C.—after announcing in 2011 that Target would replace over 100 Zellers locations across the country.

In the Lower Mainland, the first Target locations will open at the following shopping malls: Coquitlam Centre (2929 Barnet Highway, Coquitlam), Scottsdale Mall (7031 120 Street, Delta), and Willowbrook Shopping Centre (19705 Fraser Highway, Langley).

Elsewhere across the province, Target locations will also open at Tillicum Centre in Victoria, Nanaimo North Town Centre in Nanaimo, Discovery Harbour Shopping Centre in Campbell River, Tamarack Mall in Cranbrook, Sahali Centre Mall in Kamloops, and Village Green Mall in Vernon.

Target will continue to open new locations—with a total of 13 stores set for B.C.—throughout 2013.
