More than a dozen local artists, crafters, and designers will be featured in a one-day pop-up shop at Vancouver’s West Elm (2947 Granville Street) and West Elm Market (2915 Granville Street). The Etsy Pop-Up at West Elm takes places Saturday (May 25) from 1 to 6 p.m.

The city’s first West Elm shops opened in Vancouver in 2012. While West Elm specializes in home furnishings and décor, its Market offshoot carries quality household goods, including kitchen and garden wares, handcrafted preserves and syrups, grooming accessories, and scented candles.

The Etsy Pop-Up curated by Vancouver-based communication designer Jan Halvarson of Poppytalk will include handmade homegoods, jewellery, stationary, and more.

Look out for wooden accessories and art by Cabin + Cub; brightly printed pillowcases, aprons, and tea towels by Lemonni; quirky paper goods by The Beautiful Project; and vintage-inspired bags and pouches by Track & Field.

Other local favourites include eco-friendly baby goods by Down Home Amy; eclectic iPhone cases and art by Field Trip; all-natural candles from Noble Beeswax Candles; and colourful kitchen accessories by Storie Brooke.

Also featured at West Elm that day is jewellery designers Marian + Hazel, Colleen Baran, and Landon Dix Design + Craft; and artists and printmakers Think & Ink Studio and BANQUET Atelier & Workshop.

Down the street at West Elm Market, The Pink Peppercorn will be on-hand with colourful sugars and fragrant spices; Lulu Island Honey will be selling local honey and handmade candles; and Feest Home will be showcasing its all-natural, small-batch aromatherapy line.
