We’ve finished with the spring eclipses, but they aren’t finished with us yet. They’ll continue to be stimulated by the planets for some time to come. Case in point, the lunar eclipse of May 24 will be restimulated at the end of this week due to the dynamic transits of Mars and Neptune.

Neptune is tenanting its own sign, Pisces. Occurring only once every 165 years, this transit marks the raising and evolution of mass consciousness through the iconic experience. Neptune and Pisces correlate to ultimate ideals, values, meanings, and potentials, as well as loss and disillusionment, epidemics that are prevalent today.

Neptune begins a retrograde cycle on Friday. Unlike Mercury retrograde, when an outer planet turns, its effects are usually subtle—but don’t expect them to be this time.

Lasting until the middle of November, Neptune’s retrograde cycle can be thought of like a sub-chapter plot development or a distinct wave upon the ocean. It is both a collective influence and a personalizing one. Friday’s stack of transits gives that plot or wave extra power. Mars activating Neptune can produce a release, an unveiling, an unleashing, a revelation, or an exposure of significance. As well, there can be a sleight of hand, slip-it-through, deceit, or blindsiding. Mars/Neptune can display as passive or outright aggression. It’s a great transit for music, movies, and unwinding, but be especially careful on the road and in the bar. Immunity is lowered; alcohol and other vices can hit you harder than usual. Saturday’s new moon in trendsetting Gemini is accompanied by Mercury square Uranus, another transit that suggests sudden clarity, breakthrough, and fresh opportunity. The weekend is ideal for introductions, contracts, socializing, and scouting missions. Monday through Wednesday delivers a mixed bag with benefits attached.

You’ll soon know more than you do now. Look to the next few days to be informing, perhaps surprisingly so. Once one piece falls into place, it will quickly domino from there.
