Your horoscope for July 4 to 10, 2013

Mercury’s retrograde cycle continues for two more weeks, but starting Thursday there’s a sense of making it over the hump. Even if it isn’t all up and running, certainly the organizers and volunteers of the Calgary Stampede are likely to be feeling it. (Great job everyone!) Whether your weekend is planned or you take it as it comes, outside of a bump here and there, the coming days will likely be easy to navigate.

Late Sunday, Saturn ends its four-month retrograde tour. Saturn, the “can’t get away from it” planet, can be tough on you when it’s necessary to call you to task. Putting reality up front where you can see it, Saturn forces accountability, but it rewards you for your dedicated efforts. Think back to February and what was redirected for you then. Saturn has now reached the midway mark of an essential reprogramming, honing, and refortifying cycle. We’ll continue to recalibrate to October/November, when we’ll reach the next staging platform.

A new moon in the sign of Cancer occurs just after midnight on Monday. Although a new moon begins a new cycle, it also takes us to the peak of the Mercury retrograde cycle, which happens on Tuesday when Mercury conjoins with the sun. This is an informing and revitalizing influence. Watch for a significant individual to bring news or make it. You could play the messenger too.

Aries
March 19 - April 19

On Thursday/Friday, things can have a serendipitous way of working out. Watch for things to smooth out, perhaps in a way you didn’t foresee. As of the start of the new week, you’ll be stalled or stuck no longer. Of course, there’s still more to work out, but at least you’ll have something more to go on. Wednesday can be especially lucrative.

Taurus
April 19 - May 20

Have you noticed you are feeling it more than usual? You’ll show it more too, and so will they. Thursday/Friday could produce a saving grace, a good score, or an ease up. Saturday/Sunday, cozy up. Monday’s new moon can produce news or re-meeting. It can get the conversation going again too. Communication matters, relationship bonds, customer loyalty, and support networks claim more attention now.

Gemini
May 20 - June 20

Thursday to Saturday keeps you on the go. Saturn direct helps you to get better results for your efforts. You also stand to gain handsomely from Jupiter’s one-year tour of your assets and resources sector. With Jupiter’s support, you can accumulate, grow, and secure more. Mercury retrograde calls for a rethink, revision, or discussion. Monday to Wednesday is optimal in this regard.

Cancer
June 20 - July 22

As the intro says, you are likely to feel over a major hump as this week comes to a close. Saturday/Sunday, the Cancer moon keeps you moving through the paces quite well, even though Mercury is retrograde. Sunday/Monday, it’s working well for you. Monday through Wednesday can be especially profitable. Pick up the phone—your timing and opportunities are optimized.

Leo
July 22 - August 22

The end of the workweek finds you interfacing with more folk. You’ll run around more too. Serendipity can be a fun perk. Monday’s new moon suggests there’s more than meets the eye. Next week’s start is a good time to discuss private or confidential matters. A secret could be revealed. Wednesday, you can attract added attention, popularity, and favour.

Virgo
August 22 - September 22

There are times when you should wait for the right moment, and times when the moment decides to push it on you. It all happens for a reason, so go with it. The end of Saturn retrograde and Monday’s new moon set wheels in motion. Monday through Thursday, the stars offer an optimum backdrop for talking and working it out.

Libra
September 22 - October 22

Why put yourself under needless pressure while Mercury is retrograde? Build extra leeway or time margins as best you can. If it proves to be unnecessary, you’ll be that much further ahead. The end of Saturn retrograde dovetailing with Monday’s new moon improves matters to do with career, finances, family obligations, and important decision-making. Wednesday is especially lucrative.

Scorpio
October 22 - November 21

As of Sunday evening, when Saturn in Scorpio ends retrograde, you should begin to feel like a weight is lifting and the tides are shifting in your favour. They are. The planetary influences may be subtle rather than striking, but as time moves forward, you’ll see that you are too. Monday/Tuesday can bring news, added insight, a timely reconnection, or conversation.

Sagittarius
November 21 - December 21

Socially or errands-wise, the end of the workweek could keep you on the go, but you are apt to say it’s all good. Despite Mercury retrograde, this week’s stars keep comfort zones, finances, and family matters humming along. Monday’s new moon can strengthen family bonds or knit two hearts even closer. Travel is great, but so is a staycation.

Capricorn
December 21 - January 20

Even with the unexpected extras, the end of the workweek can be productive. As is typical of Mercury retrograde, expect people or the unresolved to resurface. As of the new week, that which has stalled or taken a back seat will now start to move along. The stars make it easier for you to piece it together.

Aquarius
January 20 - February 18

Thursday/Friday provide your best evenings to get out, socialize, and enjoy. Take the weekend to catch up with what’s necessary and to gift yourself extra time to unwind. Monday’s new moon sets you onto a corrective track regarding health, a relationship matter, work, or the job search. Monday to Wednesday, make the call, discuss it, reach out, hook up.

Pisces
February 18 - March 19

The week ahead can be much different than the last several. As of Saturday, you should start to feel the tides shifting. Even though there’s more Mercury retrograde to get through, the end of Saturn retrograde and Monday’s new moon sets you onto an easier roll. Sunday evening through next Thursday, your stars are in good shape.
