Long before Capcom—which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year—developed and published games that could be played in the living room, the Japanese company made games for arcades. Capcom Arcade Cabinet collects 17 of the 8-bit classics that were played in dark, smoky hangouts and rollercades between 1984 and 1988. Included are adventure games like Black Tiger and Ghosts ’n Goblins, and scrolling shooters such as 1943 and Commando. While many of these games were part of earlier nostalgia collections, this is the first time they’ve been remastered in HD. The games can be purchased separately, in bundles, or as a collection.
