Your horoscope from April 9 to 15, 2015

We can take aim with more confidence now that Jupiter has ended a four-month retrograde tour. An adjust-for-the-moving-target cycle, it’s one of the reasons the feds have delayed producing the budget. Did Joe Oliver consult an astrologer? He’s picked a good day (April 21) to deliver it. Truth-seeker Jupiter resuming forward motion is also apt for the start of the Mike Duffy trial.

Thursday puts us much more in the know. It’s also a rewarding put-it-into-gear, explore, and find-it day. The Sagittarius moon is well sparked by Uranus, Mercury, and the sun in Aries. We can do more, go further, risk more, and gain more from it. Watch or play, it should be a great sports day. Keeping the energy, conversation, and spontaneity at peak, the sun/Mercury conjunction makes Thursday the best pick for a social night out.

Venus treks into Gemini on Saturday morning. Did you get the memo about garage sales? Eating breakfast out or a java run and a visit is a good way to start the day too. Saturday could be somewhat of a bits-and-pieces or force-yourself-into-it day. On Sunday, relax, indulge, and catch up with yourself. Back-to-work Monday is better spent on people rather than paperwork.

By quitting time on Tuesday, Mercury leaves Aries for slower-paced Taurus. Grinding along to just before bedtime, the Venus/Saturn opposition puts a more serious spin on finances, paperwork, talks, the wrap-up, and the news.

      Aries
      March 20 - April 20

Start to finish, you’ve got it going on Thursday. Sun/Mercury pumps you full of fuel. It’s your best day to get a move-on. Venus in Gemini, starting Saturday, increases your options and gives you more to talk about. It’ll also get you mobilized, but through Tuesday there may be a holdup or a mindset to work through.

      Taurus
      April 20 - May 21

Thursday gives you an excellent feel for what turns them on and what gives you the best bang for your buck. Friday/Saturday keeps you wanting more and pushing for it, too. You’ll get better at juggling and multitasking once Venus leaves Taurus for Gemini, but even though Monday flows well, on Tuesday there’s a pressure ceiling or finish line to get through.

      Gemini
      May 21 - June 21

Thursday’s sun/Mercury could spark a great idea, a conversation, or more. A first date or first try hits the mark right off the bat. Over the next four weeks, Venus in Gemini keeps you looking and sounding your best. Aim for a creative or social Sunday/Monday. The second half of Tuesday can pile it up. By the end of the day, it’s finished and you’re finished too.

      Cancer
      June 21 - July 22

There may be more on your plate Thursday/Friday, but you’ll handle it well, especially when you follow through on intuition and instincts. Stay ambitious, aim higher, and try to get on the good side of those in charge. Sunday is your best chill-out day. Monday is a good people or communications day. On Tuesday, get your paperwork done.

      Leo
      July 22 - August 23

You’re off to the races now. Whether it’s a brainstorm or something more, sun/Mercury can spark something great. Even though Mercury in Aries keeps you “up for it” through next Tuesday, what’s in front of you now requires a bit more push-through mid to late next week. Venus in Gemini has another week to go before you’ll feel more fully in the know.

      Virgo
      August 23 - September 23

Whether you’ve finished your taxes, your semester, or something else, a new level of freedom or independence has you feeling all right. Venus in Gemini, starting Saturday, will give you something new to plug into. Sunday/Monday, keep it easy, make it convenient for yourself. Join in, join up; try something new. Tuesday evening brings a shift of priorities and/or lets you off the hook.

      Libra
      September 23 - October 23

Something new tossed into the mix is likely to be an instant hit, especially Thursday/Friday. Venus into Gemini, starting Saturday, is also good for a fresh social infusion. Although you can’t slack off entirely, Sunday/Monday the stars say chill out, ease your way along. Tuesday’s a whole different feel; effort is required. Stay focused on the goal and get down to it.

      Scorpio
      October 23 - November 22

Thursday/Friday keeps you clipping right along. Clever is your name—don’t hesitate to own it. Very little will escape you; sun/Mercury keeps you especially quick on the uptake. A reprieve weekend couldn’t be better timed. Monday is great for a fresh start. On Tuesday, money matters. By evening you’re in a dip, a wind-down, or a sign-off, but by week’s end, you’re good to go again.

      Sagittarius
      November 22 - December 21

You’ll feel a great energy boost now that Jupiter, your ruler, is on the move. In fact, Thursday is a great strike-flint day. For the next several weeks, Venus in Gemini revs up your social, romantic, and moneymaking prospects. Mercury in Taurus, starting Tuesday, loans you greater stick-to-itiveness. Over the next couple of weeks, you’ll gain more visible results for your efforts.

      Capricorn
      December 21 - January 20

Now through mid August, Jupiter shines a brighter light on the area of your chart that pertains to finances and intimate encounters. With Saturn now in retrograde and Pluto in Capricorn following suit as of next Thursday, the stage is set for attainment. Ditch “should”. Travel the path marked “heart’s desire”—it’ll lead you somewhere good.

      Aquarius
      January 20 - February 18

Thursday evening can light a great spark. Spontaneity does it best Sunday/Monday. For the next four weeks, Venus in Gemini will enhance your social and creative prospects, but first there’s groundwork and finishing up to do. On Tuesday, give it extra time and do it right the first time. Patience and perseverance net the best payoff.

      Pisces
      February 18 - March 20

Even though the workweek’s end puts more on your plate, you aren’t likely to get jammed up. Sun/Mercury and Venus in Gemini keep you quick on the uptake. Do your own thing this weekend. Sunday/Monday, you can get so wrapped up, you won’t notice the time slipping away. Tuesday could be a long day; Wednesday is easy-running.
