Your horoscope from July 2 to 8, 2015

    1 of 1 2 of 1

Venus and Jupiter in Leo continue to deliver the goods in terms of entertainment through the month ahead. Mercury/Jupiter and the Aquarius moon keep the people and the news in circulation on Friday/Saturday.

Sunday’s Pisces moon should make for a peaceful, easy feeling. If it doesn’t feel that way, it’s because a building aspect between the Cancer sun and Pluto in Capricorn keeps the squeeze on an important agenda. There’s a goal to reach—something to accomplish, to strive for. A driven influence, it’s appropriate for the start of the Pan Am Games and the Greek vote. Regarding Greece’s situation, the sun in Cancer rules the people, their needs, and nationalism; Pluto in Capricorn pertains to the government, the rules, the system, and the debt. By the end of Monday’s rush hour, this sun/Pluto opposition will reach its peak. It’ll be an active morning for world affairs, governing bodies, and money markets.

No matter what the outcome is for Greece, we’re all in it together when Pisces or Neptune is ignited, as it is on Sunday/Monday. At peak on Wednesday, a building Mars/Neptune trine offers great creative potential. It can be a rescue or saviour combination, but also one that dissipates or dissolves. It’s a lovely transit for music, romance, spiritual unfolding, vacation getaways, and rising above.

Starting Wednesday, Mercury is on a quick trip through Cancer, spending only two weeks in this sign. What’s communicated will be conveyed with great emotion.

      Aries
      March 20- April 20

Jupiter, Venus, and Mercury set up a good backdrop for getting your social and relaxation fill through the weekend. Thanks to sun/Pluto, Monday morning could start with added strain, but once in action the day will keep it rolling. As of Tuesday, you’ll hit an energy pickup. Mercury in Cancer, starting Wednesday, increases the action on the home and family front.

      Taurus
      April 20- May 21

Thursday can deliver one thing after another, but you’re likely to get what’s necessary wrapped up early. No matter how you fill your time, Friday through Sunday is easy to take. Stay out of the boss’s sight on Monday morning; the rest of the day is all-clear. Wednesday calls for feeling your way along and for allowing others to do the same.

      Gemini
      May 21 - June 21

The weekend offers plenty of options for entertainment. You’ll enjoy it no matter how you play it. Building to Monday morning, sun/Pluto can keep you aware of the need to rein in spending. It can also make you feel obliged to cater to another. On a different note, Monday onward is an ideal time to switch off the work and move into vacation mode.

      Cancer
      June 21- July 22

A fresh diversion is what you need, and the stars are set up for just that. It’s a smooth go through the weekend, but there’s something on brew with the sun/Pluto that adds strain or intensity. Perhaps it’s simply getting ready for the start of a vacation week or maybe it’s something much bigger. As of Monday, you’ll push past it and it’s released.

      Leo
      July 22 - August 23

Take care of business on Thursday, and the next few days are yours to own. Stir up something social or let the moment strike your fancy. It’s all good, for the most part. Monday opens with sun/Pluto on a jam-up, but you’ve faced it and dealt with it; you’ll sail through the rest of the day. Tuesday/Wednesday, you’ll hit a faster track.

      Virgo
      August 23 - September 23

The next few days will keep you working toward it. As of Monday morning, you’ll pass go and be on your way to collecting what’s due to you. Overall, it’s a good feel. Through the next two weeks, your stars are on springboard time. Mercury into Cancer, starting Wednesday, boosts social and financial prospects. Mars in trine to Neptune can stir up romance.

      Libra
      September 23 - October 23

Venus and Jupiter continue to brighten social, romantic, and financial prospects, but through Monday morning, the building sun/Pluto opposition morning keeps you under pressure to stay on top of responsibilities. Family can pull on you; organization is key. With Neptune to act as a diffuser, you’ll hold your own very well. Mercury in Cancer, starting Wednesday, adds to a busy home and family cycle.

      Scorpio
      October 23 - November 22

Friday/Saturday is good for entertaining at home, a catch-up with friends, or getting out about town. Monday’s sun/Pluto starts the day with a significant reboot. Despite it all, the moon in Pisces knows how to make the most of opportunity. Wednesday’s Mars/Neptune keeps that sweet-talking Midas touch going strong. It’s a good one for romance, and for feeling your way along.

      Sagittarius
      November 22 - December 21

Venus and Jupiter have just surpassed their peak, but they’ll continue to provide opportunity for you through most of this month. If you haven’t felt blessed by the abundance track or your experience is one of “It’s good, but it could be better,” you’ve been feeling the pay-the-piper effects of Saturn and Pluto. Monday begins a get-it-happening, dive-into-it week.

      Capricorn
      December 21 - January 20

On Thursday, you can keep it under control, but Friday/Saturday is for enjoying yourself to the fullest. Surprise your lover and you are in for a good time. On Monday, sun/Pluto hits the recharge full force right from the get-go. Wednesday’s Mars/Neptune is good for letting the sweet talker have their way with you (within reason, of course!).

      Aquarius
      January 20 - February 18

No matter where you find yourself or who you’re with, Friday/Saturday, the Aquarius moon keeps you rockin’ it. Sunday mellows the pace somewhat, but sun/Pluto keeps it somewhat edgy through Monday’s fresh start. An action week lies ahead. Tuesday/Wednesday, get on it. Mercury, Mars, and Neptune make the work or the working it out easy to tackle.

      Pisces
      February 18 - March 20

You may want to avoid the crowds or the hassle, but overall you’ll have no problem navigating your way through the weekend. Sunday/Monday, the Pisces moon refuels you. Monday’s sun/Pluto is good for a passion play. Wednesday’s Mars/Neptune could ignite truly inspired moments. Mercury in Cancer increases your creativity, intuition, and emotional radar.

"Astrology has been rejected by the scientific community as having no explanatory power for describing the universe. Scientific testing of astrology has been conducted, and no evidence has been found to support the premises or purported effects outlined in astrological traditions."

Not quite sure why we cling to pseudoscience and then try to feed it to the public. It would be nice to see this non-valid form of interpretation dismissed and replaced with real science. #sorrynotsorry
