Why: Old school meets new school with these über-hip leopard-print high-heeled kicks by Vans. This fall, store shelves have been taken over by various versions of the high-heeled running shoe, but these ones—modelled after Vans’ signature skate shoes—are a cut above the rest. They’re comfy and chic and give you added height. No need to skate in them, either; be a proud poser and wear them with grey skinny jeans, an oversize skate-logo T, and a vintage denim vest or get stoked in them with black skinny jeans, a black-leather T, and an army-green anorak. They also come in an all-black version as well as the more traditional navy canvas/black suede combination that’s synonymous with Vans.
