Your horoscope for October 10 to 16, 2013
The second half of October launches eclipse season and Mercury retrograde. The next 10 days shuffle the cards and set the play. Look and listen; don’t second-guess premonitions, instincts, or the truth. This time frame is opportune for giving yourself an advantage and heading in a new direction.
What’s growing for you now? Friday, things shape up. By Saturday, it’s on to the next page as sun square Jupiter sets an upbeat, social, game, and hopeful backdrop. Noting that the pair leans toward indulgence and excess, this is apt for the Thanksgiving spend-and-eat-too-much weekend.
Sun/Jupiter is also a major trigger for next Friday’s lunar eclipse. Eclipses accelerate circumstances. The ancients thought of them as ominous, but they can be a positive catalyst if you are already in agreement with your higher-purpose evolution. If you have outgrown or are resisting that which is necessary to your soul’s growth, an eclipse can be jarring.
Mars treks into Virgo early Tuesday. Through December’s start, Mars will focus on work, repair, and health mandates. Through next Saturday, Mars builds toward an opposition with Neptune. This aspect keeps the uncertainty and potential on hot brew.
By Wednesday afternoon, Venus trine Uranus will reach its peak. This combination is informing, enlivening, mobilizing, and financially lucrative. It is one of discovery, new adventure, luck, fresh opportunity, windfalls, and synchronicity. If you have something to say or pitch, or someone to meet, aim for Tuesday through Thursday.

Mars/Neptune keeps the promise, hope, chase, or uncertainty alive through next Saturday.
July 22 - August 22
Whether you have plans set or you make it up as you go along, you’ll certainly make good use of the long weekend. As Mars switches from Leo to Virgo on Tuesday, it’s time to allow rather than force. Mid week, stay game, try something new, enter a contest or draw. Wednesday’s Venus/Uranus keeps luck and synchronicity running high.
August 22 - September 22

Through next weekend, Mars/Neptune stokes the potential, the romance, and the hopefulness.
September 22 - October 22
Thursday/Friday can keep the pressure going, but you’ll shed it instantly once you’re away from it. Whether it’s social or family-
oriented, or you do your own thing, the long weekend should shape up well. Several major planetary alignments set the stage for next Friday’s lunar eclipse. Wednesday is especially opportune for spending, earning, or investing, as well as for social or one-on-one connectedness.
October 22 - November 21
Mercury is on its way to a download with Jupiter while Venus is energized by Uranus. In addition to a switch-it-up long weekend, both of these building influences are setting an opportune “next” into play. It’s an ideal time to travel, hunt for a new job, expand your marketing and client base, publish, perform, or make your presence much better known.
