Vancouver’s largest independent craft fair is scheduled for Mother’s Day weekend. The spring edition of Got Craft? will take over the Maritime Labour Centre (1880 Triumph Street) May 10 and 11.

The eighth annual event held twice a year unites local crafters, artisans, artists, and designers passionate about do-it-yourself culture. This year’s fair will feature 75 vendors including accessories designers BuenoStyle and OAK Vintage Jewelry, artists A Cagey Bee and Draw Me a Lion, natural-home purveyors Green with Envy and Strathcona 1890, food artisans Make Cheese Inc. and the Candid Confectioner, and leather goods designer Divina Denuevo.

In addition, this year’s Got Craft? will feature DIY workshops, such as linocut, beginner sign painting, and making nail polish.

This is Got Craft?’s first spring show at the Maritime Labour Centre. In 2013, the event was forced to find a new last-minute venue after a fire shut down the building. Got Craft? also hosts a holiday market in December.

Got Craft? will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. The first 50 people through the door will receive a free gift bag filled with goods from some of the vendors. Admission is $3 at the door. Children 10 and under can enter for free.
