Air Canada to start non-stop flights from Vancouver to Delhi this fall

      Air Canada announced today (April 27) that it will begin offering non-stop flights from Vancouver to Delhi, India, due to popular demand.

      The seasonal Dreamliner flights will be offered three times a week from October 20 to April 8, 2017. The flight will be 16-and-a-half hours long and will offer the shortest elapsed flying time from Calgary, Edmonton, Seattle, Portland, and Los Angeles to Delhi.  

      The Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft features 30 international business class lie-flat pod suites, 21 premium economy seats, and 247 economy class seats.

      The flights will begin during Diwali celebrations. Tickets are available for purchase now online and through travel agents.

      The airline began offering Toronto to Delhi non-stop service last fall.
