      May 5–8: Kate Duncan’s ADDRESS

For the third year, local woodworker Kate Duncan has gathered a group of Vancouver’s most talented designers for ADDRESS, happening from this Thursday to Sunday (May 5 to 8) at the Waterfall Building (1540 West 2nd Avenue). Billed as part gallery, part pop-up, and part showroom, the four-day fete will celebrate the city’s design scene through the sale and exhibition of handcrafted art, furnishings, décor, textiles, and functional wares. This year’s selection of goods is curated by interior designer Amber Kingsnorth of Vancouver’s MāK Interiors, who’s handpicked pieces from 18 makers, including event founder Kate Duncan, Ana Isabel Textiles, Steven Pollack, Ox + Monkey, Stefanie Dueck, and more. Local art and antique boutique The Edit has also partnered with ADDRESS to showcase works from the event’s initial talent pool, so you can browse even more up-and-coming names from the city’s evolving design and architecture industries.

The event takes place at 434 Columbia Street from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on both days, and will feature a curated selection of items from local go-getters, designers, and makers like My Modern Closet, Woodlot, Mala Collective, and more. Proceeds from every sale made during the event will go toward Vibrant Lives.
