The summer tradition of stylish derby outfits, champagne, and—most importantly—horse races, return to the city on Saturday, July 16 (11 a.m. to 6 p.m.) at the Hastings Racecourse (188 North Renfrew Street).

Entering its eighth year, the Deighton Cup is a daylong event that will feature eight races, a picnic area, cigar lounge, food tents, and live music performances.

Guests can expect to enjoy a day of summer fun, rain or shine, among 4,000 other horse-racing enthusiasts in the marquee and concourse areas.

As per tradition, the most stylish man and woman at this highly-anticipated event will win the titles of Gallant Sartorialist and Belle du Jour. In addition to taking home a $500 cash prize each, the fashionable individuals will also become style ambassadors for next year’s event.

If you’re feeling the need to upgrade your experience, join the Cocktail Jockey Mixology Competition as a spectator to witness the face-off between top bartenders—the winner walks away with a $1,000 cash prize and bragging rights. Cocktails and appetizers can be enjoyed in a VIP viewing area for an additional $55.

Early-bird tickets to The Deighton Cup ($65) are on sale today (May 10) and can be purchased online.

A portion of the all ticket sales go towards Variety—The Children’s Charity.
