Fans of Anine Bing will get a chance to meet the Scandinavian model-turned-designer and blogger in Vancouver on Thursday (August 21).

As part of the Anine Bing Collection pop-up shop on at Holt Renfrew (737 Dunsmuir Street) now until August 31, Bing will be at the luxury department store from 4 to 6 p.m.

Bing, who was born in Denmark and raised in Sweden, started out in the fashion industry as a teenaged model. In 2012, she launched her eponymous clothing line and is now based in Los Angeles.

The Anine Bing Collection epitomizes minimalist, functional Scandinavian design mixed with a laidback rock ‘n’ roll edge—think: striped cotton T-shirts, distressed denim, and fitted motorcycle jackets. Collections are meant to be seasonless and new pieces incorporate easily into existing wardrobes.
