Why: Marimekko is a Finnish textile and design company that makes everything from home furnishings to high fashion. I’m a major fan of its kids’ clothing line because of the quality, originality, and gorgeous selection of prints. Check out this pretty floral-print sleeper; it’s 100 percent cotton and has a full-length zipper, so it’s comfy against a wee one’s skin as well as practical for changing diapers. It’s available in sizes three to nine months.
