Limited-edition pieces by Alexander Wang land at Nordstrom's latest pop-up shop
If Alexander Wang’s recent New York Fashion Week presentation has you craving a dose of downtown-cool—only the irreverent designer could turn your basic dress-shirt into a streetwise bra-and-shorts set and then immediately one-up himself with a surprise Adidas collab—Nordstrom’s latest Pop-In Shop is here to provide some relief.
The pop-up spotlights one of the decade’s most urban designers through a curated selection of wears by Wang. Included are exclusive Fall 2016 pieces for men and women, such as slouchy turtlenecks, fuzzy crop-tops, and distressed denim, plus items from the designer’s T by Alexander Wang basics collection like relaxed Ts, velvet bralettes, and trendy off-the-shoulder tops.
Shoppers will also find the Alexander Wang x Kangol flat-caps in a patent leather and leopard-print—making their retail debut straight from this weekend’s runway—plus limited-edition Wang-designed home objects like graphic shot glasses, embossed playing cards, and a giant, all-black inflatable pool shark.
Pop-In @ Nordstrom x Alexander Wang runs at Nordstrom Pacific Centre (799 Robson Street) from now until October 9. Prices start at $40 for homewares and accessories, and $160 for apparel and shoes.
