Looking to satisfy your sweet tooth while getting some Christmas shopping done this weekend? (We’re getting down to crunch time, people.)

Vancouver-based baker and maker of all things sugary and delightful Tessa Sam is taking her Sweet Bake Shop biz to Gastown this Saturday and Sunday (December 10 and 11).

Offering an assortment of cupcakes, French macarons, and sugar cookies, Sam will be setting up shop at LYNNSteven Boutique (255 Carrall Street), where visitors will also be able to donate clothing, baby items, and new toiletries to Sheway, a pregnancy outreach program based in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside that provides support for child-bearing women living with substance abuse issues.

Shoppers who bring donations will receive 15 percent off their purchase at LYNNSteven. Vancouver’s Tealeaves will also be onsite with warm beverages and complimentary gift wrapping will be offered.

      The pop-up shop is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
