Army & Navy to host Shoeme liquidation sale before return of legendary shoe blowout this April

Vancouver-based online shoe retailer Shoeme.ca—known as Shoes.com in the U.S.—recently folded with little explanation, shuttering its Burrard Street storefront along with its e-commerce platform.

Luckily for Vancouverites, however, the closure means mad deals on the company’s leftover shoe stock.

From this Wednesday (March 29) to April 17, shoppers will be able to find over $1 million worth of shoes from brands such as John Fluevog, Native, Cole Haan, and Sam Edelman on sale at Army & Navy (74 West Cordova Street).

More than 6,000 pairs of shoes are expected to be in stock. Doors open at Army & Navy on March 29 at 8 a.m.

Shortly after the sale, Army & Navy will host its legendary shoe blowout starting on April 26. The annual event has been running for almost seven decades and sees a massive turnout of shoppers every year. Shoes are available from designer labels such as Pour La Victoire, Elie Tahari, and Marc Fiscer, and no pair is priced at more than $50 during this time.
