Amazon to open first distribution centre in B.C.

Amazon.ca announced today (September 17) it will locate a new fulfillment centre in Delta.

The 200,000-square-foot facility, expected to open this fall, will create over 100 full-time jobs.

"We are excited to expand our fulfillment network to British Columbia, bringing new jobs and continued investment to the country while improving the experience of shopping on Amazon.ca for customers," Brennan Weber, site leader for Amazon Canada Fulfillment Services, said in a news release.
