If you haven’t had your fill of craft markets this season, Blim studios—a community-based arts and crafts organization located in Chinatown—is hosting its annual holiday market on Saturday (December 15) from 12 to 6 p.m. at the Chinese Cultural Centre (50 East Pender Street). This year, the market will feature 60 local vendors, a live DJ set by Darwin Meyers and Japanese-fusion food by Open Sesame.

"I was inspired by the old markets of Camden in London and the Fairfax Market in Los Angeles to create the Blim Annual Holiday Market," Yuriko Iga, founder and owner of Blim, stated in a news release today (December 10). "This is our holiday version of our monthly Blim Markets, which is our way to bring the community together to celebrate and support independent businesses and entrepreneurs in Vancouver."

Vendors included in the market include jewellery by Army of Rokosz, resin Jewellery, Michael and Sabriney, Silverware Jewellery, Sarah Mulder, Wasted Effort, Love and Need, Tanya Christine Jewellery and more. Accessories designers include Creative Mayhem, Sublime Designs, Yorkshire Tomboy, Gypsy Bling, Passed out dog, Naomi Sider, corvus, Element 7, The Friendly Bunch, leather goods by cindy; while clothing designers include Mitmunk, Margaret, and Sassy Vintage.
