It’s almost time to break out your most fashionable outfits—Vancouver Fashion Week fall/winter 2012 kicks off Tuesday (March 20) and stomps its well-heeled feet around the city until March 25.

The semi-annual event features more than 30 local and international designers, including Canadian designer Shelley Klassen of Blushing Boutique (579 Richards Street), Project Runway Canada alumni Sunny Fong’s Vawk and Vawking lines, Xsenia Runa and Olya Shishkina of London, England-based label Xsenia & Olya, and Korean designer Ha Sang Beg.

Vancouver Fashion Week gets started with an opening gala at the Opus Hotel (322 Davie Street), followed by five days of 15- to 30-minute runway shows at the Chinese Cultural Centre (50 East Pender Street).

Tickets are $25 per show, $75 for a one-day pass, $200 for a five-day pass to all runways shows, and $250 for a VIP pass, which includes access to all runway shows and a ticket to the opening gala. All events are 19+ and tickets can be purchased on the Vancouver Fashion Week website.
