For the budding fashionista in your life, Vancouver children’s clothing line Redfish Kids Clothing (851 Hornby Street) recently opened its flagship boutique. The locally made clothing line founded by Lorraine Kitsos and Kristy Brinkley in 2005 was previously only available online and at other children’s clothing stores.

Redfish Kids Clothing includes a babies collection (sizes starting at six months), which features bright onesies ($29), cute kimono-inspired two-piece play sets ($58), and printed swing dresses ($49). Separate boys and girls collections include basic tops and jeans, party dresses, and stylish jackets for girls (starting at $18), and smart-looking hoodies, cotton drawstring skater shorts, and formalwear for boys (starting at $30).

The boutique will also feature classic children’s clothing brands, such as France’s Petit Bateau, Germany’s Steiff, Montreal’s Raplapla, New York’s Atsuyo et Akiko, and the UK’s Playsam Toys.
