For thesecond year in a row, Stripped Wax Bar will be hosting a waxathon in support of the Underwear Affair. This year’s waxathon takes place Saturday (June 30) from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Stripped Wax Bar’s new Kitsilano location (1990 West 4th Avenue).
Proceeds from all brazilian and manzilian services will go towards the Underwear Affair, a 5- or 10-kilometre walk/run scheduled for July 7 in Vancouver. This annual event organized by the B.C. Cancer Foundation aims to bring awareness to cancers below the waist, including ovarian, cervical, prostate, testicular, bladder, and colorectal cancers.
At Stripped Wax Bar, brazilian services are $38 and manzilians are $68 (a little more time and attention is required for the complete removal of pubic hair on males, thus the price difference). Appointments are recommended for the waxathon, but walk-ins are welcome.
