Urban Outfitters store takes over historic West 4th building
Vancouver’s second Urban Outfitters store opens in Kitsilano on May 10. The boutique at 2199 West 4th Avenue will be located in a historic 1912 building, which formerly housed the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce and more recently, a Le Chateau store.
The men’s and women’s clothing, shoes, and accessories retailer was founded in Pennsylvania in 1970. Today, there are more than 170 Urban Outfitters boutiques across Canada, the U.S., and Europe, as well as an online shop.
Urban Outfitters first opened in Vancouver at 830 Granville Street. Last year, Anthropologie, which is owned by Urban Outfitters, Inc., opened its first Vancouver boutique on South Granville.
