Eighteen months after opening her first Vancouver boutique (2151 West 4th Avenue), local fashion designer Nicole Bridger is expanding her empire. A second Nicole Bridger store has opened at 208 East 12th Avenue.

“We are all very excited about the opening of the Main Street location as many of our existing clients are from the area,” Bridger stated in a news release today (December 6). “The vision for us is to expand into new markets. The Main Street location is just one of hopefully many more to come in the future.”

Bridger is known for her line of ecofriendly womenswear made from natural materials, such as certified organic cotton, hemp, bamboo, and alpaca wool. All of the pieces are made in Vancouver and materials are locally sourced whenever possible.

The new Nicole Bridger location will stock the designer’s fall/winter 2012 collection, “Kali”. The collection, which was inspired by self-reflection and letting go of excess, consists of rich blue, grey-blue, berry red, and forest green tones.
