Your horoscope for April 5 to 11, 2012
Mercury retrograde has just ended, but allow a little more time to see your way clearly. Mercury continues to swim through Pisces’ waters to the middle of the month.
Good Friday’s full moon in Libra challenges the equilibrium. Occurring at 12:19 p.m. PDT, this is a high-tide supermoon. Saturn’s repression influence could put a muzzle on it, but it is more likely that the full moon will distort emotions and issues, thereby tipping the scales off kilter. Launching into the full moon, Venus in square to Neptune can fog up the rose-coloured glasses for a temporary spell, but once the light is fully on, you’ll see what it is you missed all along. Don’t bank on the promise or live for the potential. Don’t be foolish with your money or your heart.
Entertainment is an effective full moon tension diffuser. On Thursday and Friday, enjoy music, movies, live theatre, and nightlife, or get creative and play up the romance. Whether you observe Easter or get up to other things, Saturday and Sunday can be consuming days. Tuesday should deliver a smoother pace.
A few days ago, Venus advanced into Gemini. Extending its tenancy of this connect-the-dots sign through August 7, we are now entering the karmic peak of the year. Know you have an important date with destiny. Look for clues. The script is already in development.
March 19 - April 19
The next couple of days can resurrect or re-inflame a matter you thought was already laid to rest. Good Friday’s full moon in Libra can take you by surprise. You may hit a relationship or financial wall, but sometimes the universe sees it as the most effective way to get the necessary turnaround started. Don’t drag it out; do it now.
April 19 - May 20
Additional expenses, headaches or a sudden health issue can throw you for a loop as the full moon in Libra rises. Expectations may not pan out as well as you have anticipated; the paycheque, person, product, or experience can fall short of the promise. Face it head on, adjust, and move on. Tuesday’s fresh-start stars get you back on the right track.
May 20 - June 20
Whether you observe Easter in the traditional way, or whether you have other plans for your extra time off, the super full moon in Libra sets the tone for an indulgent long weekend. If good intentions fall by the wayside in favour of horizontal R & R time, so be it! Keep the chocolate and the effort to a minimum.
June 20 - July 22
Extra family pressures piled on top of the work week wrap-up can be almost too much to handle as Good Friday’s full moon builds. Aim for the two-birds, one-stone toss. You’ll gain the best of both worlds when you can find a recipe that’s equally good for them and for you. From Easter Sunday forward through the week, it will piece together very well.
July 22 - August 22
Social plans can fill up the start of your weekend. Then again, a sign-off and getaway-from-it-all is ideal too. Friday’s full moon in Libra can make you especially aware of the rising costs of both business and pleasure, but hey—you want it, you need it, what choice do you have? Sunday through Tuesday, you can be a shrewd negotiator.
August 22 - September 22
Your outlay or output may be more than you get out of it thanks to Good Friday’s super full moon. If you feel you are carrying both sides of the relationship, ask yourself why. It’s up to you to define your boundaries, and that requires you to open up a dialogue. Don’t let them guess, spell it out instead. On Sunday and Monday the stars empower you.
September 22 - October 22
You can give or take on more, but you probably won’t see any payback. Relationship or financial juggling can be especially challenging as the week comes to an end. You can’t do it all; know your limits. The added strain of Friday’s super full moon could see you cave or buckle under. By Sunday or Monday, you’ll have turned yourself right around.
October 22 - November 21
Friday’s super full moon could catch you off guard. Your susceptibility to suggestion or emotional vulnerability runs higher than usual. Although you usually do a good job of locking them up, unresolved or conflicting feelings can surface. Allow yourself to explore whatever appears. It is a timely and necessary part of your learning. On Sunday or Monday, you’ll be back onto your powerhouse track.
November 21 - December 21
You’ll show up as required, but by the time Good Friday’s super full moon completes, you’ll feel finished off too. From here on in, if you are simply going through the motions, you’ll find you can’t fake it so well any longer. On the other hand, when something new springs up, know that destiny’s wind has just blown in. It will soon overtake you.
December 21 - January 20
Mercury has just completed retrograde, but it can be hard to tell the difference as pressure and confusion continue to build. Friday’s super full moon can be provoking. You could snap, but it can just as quickly pass. Don’t let resentment smoulder. Call the spade and unburden yourself—forgive yourself, too. Tuesday puts you or it right.
January 20 - February 18
Thursday’s après-work may offer a delightful launch into your long weekend. Friday’s super full moon may find you catering or deferring to the needs of others, but you are likely to get full value out of it too. On Sunday and Monday, the Scorpio moon can pull strong emotions out of you. Your radar won’t miss a thing.
February 18 - March 19
If you have bought into the fantasy, Good Friday’s super full moon can strip away your remaining illusions. Then again, as is typical of the fish sign’s duality, you could sink even further into it. Saturday onward demonstrates what’s real and what’s wishful thinking. On Sunday, emotions say more than words. Play it by feel. Go with your intuition.
