Saturday’s full moon occurs at 8:25 p.m. It is the second of three in a row and of five super moons for 2012. A super moon intensifies the Earth’s electromagnetic fields and personal energy fields too. Scorpio’s potency is never lightweight. When it isn’t overt, it’s covert, complex, and seducing.
Just two hours before the full moon peaks, Mercury opposes Saturn. The planet of communication, mobility, and commerce, Mercury is a quick wit and a sharpshooter in Aries. It can be hotheaded too. When polarized with Saturn, Mercury’s freedom is limited, its speed is slowed, and it meets with delay. Mercury can’t act without first knowing where it needs to stand. Saturn provides dictation, setting the rules and defining the reality. This combo can produce frustration, but when used constructively, Mercury authorized by Saturn is one of timing it right.
Scorpio Dirty Harry describes the simmering pressure best: “This time, it’s personal.” The compulsive, unleashing, or unhinging Scorpio full moon acts as a major release valve. It can be a tide-turner or a power-play time for matters of finance, economics, business, politics, and intimate or close relationships.
If it appears that things are subdued, laid to rest, or even snuffed out, check your radar. Private talks, backroom planning, hidden motivations, secret dealings—it’s a sure bet that there’s more than meets the eye. Sunday onward thrusts more into action.
