Your horoscope for September 27 to October 3, 2012
Mitt Romney looked like a serious contender for a while, but coinciding with that 47 percent video, the slice-it-dice-it Uranus/Pluto transit of September 18 has played destiny’s poker chip and now seals his fate. My prediction has always been for Barack Obama’s win, but with trickster Mercury beginning retrograde on the U.S. election day, plenty could go haywire. There could be significant distraction, confusion, chaos, and finger pointing. Technology could falter, votes may go missing, allegations of or actual tampering could incite civil backlash. It’s possible that a recount could be called for.
On Thursday, Venus and Mars start a recalibration momentum and set the trigger for Saturday’s hot-wired full moon in Aries (8:19 p.m.). Partnerships, alliances, enmeshments, contracts, and legal and financial matters reach a peak of reckoning. Illuminating, unifying, or polarizing, this harvesting full moon could spark a personal relationship breakthrough or breakup. On a gratifying note, the weekend’s entertainment or intimate encounters can slam it right off the charts.
Due to the reactivation of Uranus/Pluto, the full-moon flint strike can hit as early as Friday. Proceed with extra caution around pushy or angry people, sharp instruments, weapons, matches, combustibles, and breakables. Don’t let rash or impulsive action set you up for later regret. Watch your driving speed, food allergies, et cetera.
Just before the stroke of midnight on Tuesday, Venus advances into Virgo. For the next few weeks, Venus directs more attention to corrections, repairs, and healing.
Aries
March 19 - April 19
Feel your way along Thursday/Friday. The unexpected can light a surprise fuse. Watch for intuition to provide a flash of creative genius or a saving-grace clue. Saturday/Sunday, the Aries full moon is in full swing, and so are you. Whether the fire starter is passion, enthusiasm, or hot buttons hit, you aren’t likely to hold back much. Monday cools you down or finishes it off.
Taurus
April 19 - May 20
Opt for what’s simplest and most readily available on Thursday/Friday, but don’t let neglect set you up for later regret. The weekend could thrust you into added complication, expense, or a sudden scramble. Stay abreast and you are likely to minimize the more jolting effects of Saturday’s full moon. Positively, you could find yourself enjoying an exciting diversion.
Gemini
May 20 - June 20
You could lose your way on Thursday, but look to Friday to set you onto a fast bounce-back. Something completely out of the blue can sidetrack your weekend. Social, spectator, intellectually stimulating, synchronistic, or jarring, on Saturday/Sunday watch for the full moon to pack quite a punch; Monday finishes it off. Even though Venus begins Virgo, creative rather than exacting work is best Tuesday/Wednesday.
Cancer
June 20 - July 22
Thursday/Friday, follow your intuition, put creativity and know-how into action. Seek it. Saturday’s pressurized full moon can blow the lid off something important. You could feel hit from all sides, or feel forced to make a sudden switch. Conflict with the rules, authority, or those in charge can sting or ding you. Past Monday, you should find life easier to handle.
Leo
July 22 - August 22
Thursday, you can fritter it away more than usual. Come Friday night, desire kicks it up a hot notch. Whether you have something special planned or the unexpected zaps you, expect the intensity to stay on high voltage through the full-moon weekend. Quick and spontaneous saves the day/delivers best. Monday to Wednesday, go slower, be sure, or wait.
Virgo
August 22 - September 22
On Friday, you could be swayed or impressed. Mars can make for a hot date night. Energizing or disconcerting, Saturday’s full moon could deliver a surprise moment of truth. When fear or emotional chords are struck, the propensity for reactive or explosive response is greatly heightened. Inhibition is easily lost. Venus in Virgo, starting late Tuesday, helps you to regain yourself and lost ground.
Libra
September 22 - October 22
The full moon has quite a bite, especially for Friday to Sunday’s birthday folk. You could find yourself suddenly provoked, upended, or in the thick of it before you’ve had a chance to blink. The thrill or heat can be fleeting, but the impact may be lasting. Monday, you’ll come to a finish or stop. Tuesday/Wednesday, keep things low-key.
Scorpio
October 22 - November 21
Saturday’s disruptive full moon is sure to set you onto sudden task. An accident, an argument, a breakdown, or a health flare-up could hit you especially hard. Faulty or inconsistent performance is a sign that something needs fixing quickly. On the other hand, the harvest moon can suddenly sharpen the viewfinder and erase doubt and uncertainty. A solution, an answer, or an option could take you by surprise.
Sagittarius
November 21 - December 21
Friday gets you going in a jiffy. Once impulse, inspiration, passion, or the shit hits, you’ll be an unstoppable dynamo. Uranus and the Aries full moon create a high-voltage, happening weekend with no letup. Of course, if it’s a good buzz, we’ll hear no complaints! Win-win is one for all, not all for one. Remember this and you’ll get double back.
Capricorn
December 21 - January 20
Capricorn folk born on or close to December 27 will feel Saturday’s provoking and hard-hitting full moon the most. Although it’s been building for a while, when it erupts you’ll still feel taken by surprise. The harvest moon will supply you with ample energy to move house or enough rocket fuel to make that critical blast through.
Aquarius
January 20 - February 18
An amazing weekend lies ahead; Friday puts it on brew. Whether plans deliver or you’re blown away by surprise, watch for this weekend’s full moon to set your future onto a much faster track. A single instant could alter everything. A cautionary note—accidents can happen, so watch your speed. Past Monday, the pace slows right down.
Pisces
February 18 - March 19
Thursday/Friday, the fuelled-up Pisces moon gets things moving right along. Saturday/Sunday, you could be confronted with more expense, conflict, or unexpected extras, but you should find you have enough sharpness and shrewdness to duke it out just fine. Your better choices and options should prove to be clear-cut. Monday to Wednesday, stop, relax, and replenish; ease yourself along.
