The poetry of Leonard Cohen and the music of choral superstar Eriks Ešenvalds meet in the premiere of the first commission funded by the Diane Loomer Commissioning Fund. Guest composer and conductor Eriks Ešenvalds will lead the North American premiere of the men’s version of his beloved Stars, as part of this joyous celebration of new choral music. The Dream We Carry includes premieres of commissioned works by eminent Canadian composers Imant Raminsh Jocelyn Morlock, and Rodney Sharman alongside Tormis and more.
