The VCC Jazz Orchestra, directed by Alan Matheson, pays tribute to composer and arranger Billy Strayhorn by playing a few of his timeless classics such as Take The ‘A’ Train and Chelsea Bridge originally written for the Duke Ellington orchestra. As part of the 40th anniversary celebration of the VCC School of Music, faculty members will be featured along with current students and alumni performers.
