Learn to grow healthy fruits and veggies in containers, community gardens, backyards, rooftops and more. Students will learn about: site assessment for food gardens; basic gardening considerations; common garden pests; how and when to harvest food. Students will get hands-on experience with: selecting food plants for small space production; sowing seeds; transplanting seeds.
