Synesthesia: A Bridge of Song

The Theme: a program of stimulating choral pieces that connect the feeling of music with visually engaging imagery.

The Reason for the Theme: both the current and former director of the Peace Choir are synesthetes, meaning they involuntarily connect colour and other visual experiences to the music they hear.

The Method: in support of music education in schools, we have created a lineup of lush contemporary pieces, sung with the guest performers; the Eric Hamber Secondary Chamber Choir and the New Westminster Secondary Chamber Choir.
