Who doesn't like to party like it's the 70's?! We love the 70’s and all the amazing music and dance that it birthed. We believe that Vancouver needs a regular event that connects funk-style dancers and live soul music in a classy and fun environment. Our dream is to grow a respectful intergenerational party that will inspire you and all your friends to move, groove and express on one of the city’s best-kept dance floors while enjoying B.C.'s best funk music in one of Vancouver’s finest venues. Get dressed like it's the 70's!

Presenting PHONIX FUNK TRAIN; a Soul Train revival

Our host, Alex Rema invites you to hop on board the Funk Train the experience this amazing schedule of entertainment:

8:00: Authentic Soul Train footage played on the big screen. Grab a drink and take a trip down memory lane
9:00: 9-piece funk band, The Phonix, takes the stage
9:40: Choreographed dance performance by Project Soul to live funk music from The Phonix.
9:45: Dance lesson with Project Soul.
11:00: Special guest JERRICA SANTOS takes the stage with The Phonix.
11:40: Dance performances
12:00: One hour of Soul (The Phonix with Jerrica Santos and other special guests)
1:00: That's a wrap!

We'll also have a special appearance from STILT WALKER/DANCER Diane Garceau.
