On Sunday October 4 at 2 PM, families from every faith are invited to bring their animal companions to St. Andrew’s-Wesley United Church for the annual Blessing of the Animals.

Expect a family-friendly service of beauty and inspiration, and possibly a little chaos. During this special service, animals and their human families will file up to be blessed by Rev. Dan Chambers and Jen Cunnings.

All members of the animal kingdom and their families are welcome. You are also invited to bring something you hold in remembrance of a pet you’ve lost so their memory can also be blessed. To keep them safe, we ask that all your animal friends be leashed or in their carrier.

Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened.
