Vancouver Bach Choir presents the epic holiday masterwork, G.F. Handel’s Messiah, December 12, 2015 at 8pm at The Orpheum - part of the monumental 85th anniversary season. New life is brought to this magnificent gem by the internationally celebrated symphonic choir who are joined by the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and an ensemble of celebrated Canadian soloists: Simone Osborne, Soprano; Susan Platts, Mezzo-Soprano; Andrew Haji, Tenor and Daniel Okulitch, Baritone. Audiences are invited to bask in the euphoric harmonies, sonorous orchestrations, and soaring arias of Handel’s extraordinary oratorio – featuring the iconic and immortal Hallelujah chorus.
