The annual Talking Stick Festival (Feb. 18 - 28) treats Vancouver to a city-wide, one-of-a-kind celebration of Indigenous performance and art. Don’t miss the ever popular Wax Hoks En Shqalawin (Open Your Hearts) Opening Gala which kicks off the festivities with first class entertainment accompanied with an array of hors d'oeuvres followed by a buffet dinner.

Afterwards, enjoy 11 days jam packed with the best Indigenous arts Vancouver has to offer, including: Indigenous Contemporary Dance, a series of musical concerts, slam poetry, a visual arts exhibition and some of the best Indigenous theatre there is. The festival also boasts a number of interactive families – friendly events, an Aboriginal Artisan Fair, an assortment of workshops, artist talks and panel discussions as well as a Knowledge Sharing Series for arts professionals.
