Mix Media Productions & Staircase Theatre present this four week Voice Over training, led by voice over talent, Jesse Inocalla. Jesse has studied under some of the top names in Vancouver and has been working steadily as an actor and coach. His credits include over 15 main and supporting characters on "Yoohoo and Friends" from Toonzone Studios, and lead credits on LEGO's "Legends of Chima". He can currently be heard in the Legends of Chima 4D Movie playing at LegoLands worldwide. This voiceover workshop will be held on four consecutive Tuesday evenings, with a different focus for each class. Day 1: Voiceover: Where to begin? VO can be a scary and intimidating world to get into. What do you need to know? Learn all about getting started, and pick up a few tricks to get a headstart into the world of voiceover! Day 2: Commercials: How to sell anything to anyone! In this class, you’ll learn the six most common directions in commercial VO so you can rock your audition and get heard! Day 3: Animation: Animation is considered incredibly high-profile work in the voiceover industry, but it takes a certain set of skills to make it happen. Learn all about proper placement and how to find and develop characters to make that cartoon or video game a classic! Day 4: Business: The road ahead! Starting a career as an actor can be daunting, and making the jump into being a professional can be scary. This class will teach you everything you need to know from how and where to get your demo produced, to how to behave with your agent, to how to keep the work you book!
