Barney Bentall, Tom Taylor and Shari Ulrich, together as BTU, are back with a brand new album and shows around the coast! Tightrope Walk is the second recording from the powerhouse folk trio, and it's first to be released on Borealis Records. Tightrope Walk is a remarkable and varied journey through the inspirations of it's creators, and an acoustic instrumental delight.

The Vancouver show coincides with the album's official release on February 12th, and BTU chose The Cultch as it is a special and favored venue for the band. The three songwriters will be joined during the evening by three of the musicians who contributed to the recording; Rob Becker on bass, Geoff Hicks on percussion, and Julia Graff on violin (who also photographed and designed the album cover).
