Things We See and Do Not Forget is an exhibition by Pat Valade about the language of photography and the idea of the archive. Portraying our relationship with the image and the various steps of action and consumption that come with taking/printing/looking at images.

Viewers will be able to explore the artist's personal photographic process with customizable zines! - available for everyone to create from Pat's personal archive.

Pat Valade is a photographer and artist currently creating work about the conversation with the contemporary saturation of photographic culture in the everyday. His photography maintains a close and personal relationship with his subjects, often shown through his large archive, capturing decisive and unassuming moments. Pat holds a BFA from Emily Carr University and currently lives and works in Vancouver, BC.
