A Citizens Guide to Bike Share in Vancouver is A Jane's Walk-Bike Ride.

NOTE: Participants can choose a - session on May 6, 7 or 8

The rocky road to Bike Share deployment in Vancouver is littered with rhetoric and press-release driven media spin but how will it really engage, enhance and impact our city, its citizens and visitors?

What's been lacking is genuine citizen access to information about the technical, operational and aesthetic impacts of a bike share for Vancouver.

Our ride will transit the BikeShare: Phase I Core Area of Vancouver deployment - posing questions and incorporating considerations related to: Property, Buildings, Streets, Businesses, Neighborhoods, Public Services, Parks and Amenities, Transportation modes and opportunities for extended integration.

How will we fit 150 Transaction Stations, Wayfinding and 1500 Bike Stantions (along with civic, operator, sponsor and advertiser branding, advertising and messaging) as well as thousands of users?

BRING: Your own bike, ideas, questions and concerns

MEET: Broadway and Arbutus Street (S/E Side at Arbutus Corridor)

Led By William Gibbens of Influency
