The UBC Graduate School of Journalism students in the International Reporting Program are launching their documentary project Hidden in Plain Sight: Stories of Migration & HIV in Chile.

In collaboration with VICE News, nine journalism graduate students embarked on an intensive eight-month reporting project to explore the issues of migration and HIV in Chile. The result is a multi-platform project that uses video documentary and virtual reality to tell powerful stories about people dealing with these issues.

This FREE event is the first public screening of the project and will include two documentary films and two virtual reality viewing experiences.

Watch the films, experience immersive VR and meet the creators!
