Peace Tree Innovations Society in collaboration with Burnaby Public Library presents this meditation workshop on emotional health.

Emotions are the foundation of human life, yet most of the time they suffocate us in their pangs and drain all our energy reserves by taking us on a roller coaster ride.

Let's train our brains to choose our emotions. Toxic emotions affect not only your relationships, but also your brain. Meditation is like a surfboard that can help you ride the emotional waves with ease and to help nurture and enrich relationships as well as other aspects of your life.

In this and the following session in June, Master Sunita will present simple tools of Self Compassion Healing Meditation to exercise your brain, create positive emotions and rejuvenate all aspects of your life.

A few minutes of these scientifically tested practices can help you manage and regulate your own emotions and those around you.

Master Sunita Bapooji is the pioneer of SOOKSHMA - Self Compassion Healing Meditation program with about 40 years of global impact. Her compassion, deep empathy and pure positive vibrations are an added bonus to these energizing sessions.

Dr. Suman Kollipara, her student will also share with you the science and evolution of emotions and the neuroscience of meditation. He comes with a unique background of veterinary medicine, computer science and about 10 years of training in meditation. His sense of humour bridging animal science, human meditation and wisdom makes the sessions quite intriguing.

Peace Tree Innovations Society is a non-profit organization that arranges workshops, lectures and seminars on overall well-being using tools of self-compassion healing meditation.
