On Saturday, June 25th 2016, Smallworks Studio and Laneway Housing Inc. will put the final touches on both it’s 99th and 100th completed laneway home in Vancouver. The two homes are side by side in one of Vancouver’s most beloved neighbourhoods; Riley Park.

This is an auspicious milestone for the company’s Founder, Jake Fry. Jake first advocated laneway housing in 2010, with the vision that Vancouver, mired in public debate about the rising price of real estate, had room for 50,000 new small homes if a bylaw for laneway housing were to be adopted.
