The Surrey International Writers’ Conference is back!

Always wanted to be a published writer, but had no idea where to start? Got a fascinating memoir you’d like to share? Or maybe you are a working writer, looking for a way to take your work to the next level.

Have we got the conference for you!

The 22nd annual Surrey International Writers’ Conference will be held at the Sheraton Guildford Hotel in Surrey, British Columbia, October 25-27, 2014, [with master classes on October 24, 2014]. Authors, editors, social media experts, agents and industry experts – all the characters in the literary milieu will be there for a top-of-the-line teaching conference. Headliners include Cory Doctorow, Diana Gabaldon, Chuck Wendig, Michael Slade, Anne Perry, Smart Bitch Sarah Wendell, Jack Whyte and NYC agent Donald Maass among more than 50 other presenters.

Upwards of 70 workshops, panels, banquets, keynotes and much mingling is set to take place over the course of this very intense weekend. With every registration comes a chance to pitch your work to acquiring editors and agents from across North America and beyond. Often called the best professional development conference of its kind, SiWC has something for every writer from the rank beginner to the widely published. It is a wild weekend of words, and not to be missed!
