Saturday Night Live make-up department head and Emmy winner Louie Zakarian will share stories of make-up quick changes, celebrity skits and snafus onstage. He and Roque Cozzette—a beauty artist and brush designer whose clients include Isabella Rossellini and Christina Milian—will be IMATS keynote speakers.

Additional speakers include former BBC artist Norma Hill-Patton (X-Men: Days of Future Past, The Twilight Saga: New Moon), Miss USA/Miss Universe artist Brian Champagne, Buffy the Vampire Slayer artist Todd McIntosh and Oscar-nominated hairdresser Robert Pandini (The Revenant, Juno).

The beauty/fantasy category is themed Carnival/Circus; the character/prosthetic category is themed Four Decades of Star Wars. Students will race against the clock to create winning looks.
